Thank you to all our lovely clients who continue to sanitize and follow government guidelines on social distancing. We are very busy (thankfully) so just need to remind new visitors about our booking conditions and requirements regarding covid.When you book your ride we always explain that clean gloves are required for leaders and riders,sturdy footwear for leaders(common sense) and shoes or boots with a little heel for the riders...we do have gloves to buy and boots to borrow. All riders should wear long confortable trousers - NO DRESSES, SANDALS OR FLIP FLOPS ON THE YARD....We are still having people expecting to lead their child or ride in beach wear.We also need people to turn up at least 15 minutes before your ride...Please Please be on time.We are struggling with late arrivals missed appointments and people not acknowledging the current restricted ride requirements.

Offering horse riding for all the family. Whether its a one off treat or you want to learn to ride, Finlake Riding Centre has something for everyone.

Finlake Riding Centre is situated in the beautiful Teign valley on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Adjacent to Finlake Holiday Park it benefits from scenic off road hacking in private parkland and woodland trails. All the bridle tracks have been 'all weather' surfaced so that even in inclement weather under foot remains good.

All ages and standards of rider are catered for, complete beginners are welcome on our gentle treks around the woodland trails riding well behaved cobs.Experienced riders can enjoy our longer and more exhilirating rides which include evening pub rides.Young children and nervous adults may prefer our half hour stroll where our experienced staff will be able to lead anyone requiring assistance.Very small children can ride our tiny miniature shetland ponies or the slightly bigger Dartmoor pony. As well as hacking, we also have various lesson options available. Whether your learning to ride, want to join the pony club or find an experienced local instructor we can help! All our horses & ponies are extremely well cared for by our dedicated team of staff and the horses welfare and customer safety is paramount. Finlake Riding Stables has something to offer everyone and we welcome any inspection prior to riding.

**PLEASE BE AWARE THIS IS WORKING YARD THEREFORE WE WOULD ASK ALL TO WEAR SENSIBLE FOOTWEAR WHEN ENTERING THE YARD AND IF ESCORTING CHILDREN BOOTS MUST BE WORN..SANDALS & FLIP FLOPS, SLIDERS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE YARD. DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED ONTO THE YARD BUT ARE TO BE KEPT IN YOUR VEHICLE - THIS IS FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL ANIMALS ON THE YARD** Your co-operation in this matter is appreciated.
